We decided on forever...

Our love story begins in the most millennial way possible, a single click. Who would’ve thought that the price for a month on a dating site would lead to the most AMAZING relationship of our lives. We instantly hit it off, and within a few days decided to go all in and meet face to face. It’s hard to imagine there are still men out there who bring flowers on a first date, but Abram truly showed he was different from anybody out there. After a 5 hour first date walking around downtown Grand Rapids, eating Sushi and talking, it was clear that neither of us needed to use another moment on the dating site.

After the next few months, these two crazy people started to spend all their time together. The more time they spent together, the more Abram realized he was living out of his over-night bag. These two lovebirds decided to take a big plunge and Ashley decided to share her closet space, and have Abram move in. They learned each others quirks and the Monday - Friday habits and quickly fell deeper in love. After months of secretive planning, Abram had seized the perfect Christmas vacation to gather with his family again and plan something special. As far as Ashley knew it was a vacation to meet the rest of Abram's family and spend the holidays with the man she loved. His sister "made the plan" and we drove to Colmar, France where Beauty and the Beast(Ashley’s favorite Disney movie) was inspired. After walking around amazed in all the beauty and culture the town had to offer, Abram’s sister planted a rose(that she had in her purse) and Abram reached to pick it up and got down on one knee to give the most epic proposal ever. Ashley’s response wasn’t typical and while speechless she said “OF COURSE!” all the while trying to wipe away her tears. And so our story continues to the planning of our Happily Ever After...
