Where is the church for the ceremony located?

Answer

St. Aidan's church is located on 6 mile and Farmington, off of Farmington Rd. There is a strip mall with baskin robins next door to it.

Where do we park for the ceremony?

Answer

There are two parking lots for the church. There is also a drop off area that is covered in case the weather is not cooperating with us!

How far is the reception from the ceremony?

Answer

The reception is two miles away from where the ceremony is. St. Mary's Cultural Center is located on Merriman between 6 and 7 mile. There is a beautiful Basilica to the left of it that is called St. Mary's.

Where do we park for the reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot located to the left of St. Mary's Cultural Center where you can park. Once again, there is a covered area for you to get dropped off if the weather is not cooperating with us. The venue is located next to a Basilica.

Is the bar an open bar or cash?

Answer

This is an open bar, but just remember everything will be heavily photographed! Proceed with caution.

How do we get to the ceremony?

Answer

If you are coming from around Canton, take I-275 North to 6 mile road. Turn right onto 6 mile. In 2.4 miles turn left onto Farmington Rd. The church will be located on the right in 0.3 miles. If you are coming from around Novi, take I-275 South and continue following signs for I-275. Take I-275 to 6 mile road. Turn left onto 6 mile, then in 2.7 miles turn left onto Farmington. The church will be on the right in 0.3 miles. The address for the church is 17500 Farmington Rd, Livonia, MI, 48152.

How do I get to the reception from the ceremony?

Answer

When exiting the church, turn left onto Farmington Rd. Take Farmington Rd to 6 mile and turn left. Take 6 mile one mile down and turn left onto Merriman. In 0.4 miles, St. Mary's Cultural Center will be on the right.

What will happen if COVID is still around next year?

Answer

Although we are hoping and wishing that COVID will minimize as much as possible for next year, we understand that there is still a possibility that it may be around. We are still going to keep moving forward with getting married on our decided date. We will socially distance as much as possible while still having as much fun as possible! If you wish to wear a facemask, you are more than welcome to do so! There will be hand sanitizer located throughout the venue. As we get closer to the date, we will make final decisions on what will actually happen reception wise. We will keep you posted!

Is there a hotel block for the wedding?

Answer

We have a hotel block for our out of towners! The hotel is Courtyard by Marriott Detroit Livonia located at 6 mile and Newburgh Rd. The address is 17200 N Laurel Park Dr, Livonia, MI 48152. Book them while there are still rooms left!

If we stay at the hotel, will there be a shuttle that will take us to and from the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Unfortunately we did not qualify for the shuttle. There is Uber available!

What is the expected attire for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

This event is a black tie optional event. Please be comfortable, but look good for the camera ;)
