Answers to all your questions.... we will keep updating as the wedding gets closer so check back!
Question

When does the wedding weekend start? When should we arrive?

Answer

Our first welcome event will be held in the early evening on Thursday August 13th. If you fly into Frankfurt or another nearby airport, arriving on Thursday the 13th in the morning will give you plenty of time to make the event. But if you would like to come a day earlier to explore the beautiful Mosel area please feel free! You can find more details in the Schedule tab.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have a room block in a beautiful hotel across the river from the castle, at the Moselstern Brigade & Triton hotel. To book in our block please reach out to Tina Merckling at tinam@dynamictravel.com or call 817-865-5257. You can find more information and other recommendations on the Travel tab.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Dress code is Semi-formal - Ladies feel free to wear flowy maxi or midi dresses, or jumpsuits & comfortable heels or sandals. Please avoid white or the wedding colors of burgundy, blush pink, or plum purple unless asked to wear them. Men are asked to wear laid back suits or dress slacks and shoes with a shirt & tie.

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP on the this website by no latter then July 1st so that we can be sure to accommodate you.

Question

Are children invited? Are plus ones being accommodated ?

Answer

While we love you all and your families, we plan to have an adults-only event with exception of siblings of the bride and groom that are participating in the wedding. We are planning an intimate event with our closest friends and families, with the exception of spouses and long-term partners we ask that only those listed on the invitation attend.

Question

How should we get to and from the wedding and reception?

Answer

A shuttle service is being provided for guests from the hotel to the ceremony on the day of the wedding. At 5 pm, after the champagne reception in the castle courtyard, shuttles will begin bringing guests to the reception dinner and party at the La Baia restaurant overlooking the Mosel River. Guests can easily walk the 5 minutes across the bridge back to the hotel from the restaurant after the festivities have ended.
