What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Seating begins at 3:30pm. We ask you arrive before 4pm so our ceremony can begin on time. We value your attendance and wouldn’t want you miss a single moment!

Can I bring a date?

We kindly ask that guests only bring a plus-one if their formal invitation specifically includes one. While we’d love to celebrate with everyone, we are keeping our guest list limited.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you the chance to relax, let loose and enjoy the evening with us!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

We do! Our venue had recommended the following options: The Farmington Inn Homewood Suites Avon Old Farms Hotel *We recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We did not reserve a hotel block as we wanted our guests to be comfortable with their lodging choice, whether it be any of the hotels or an air bnb.

What is an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

We invite you to be fully present with us, so we kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away during our ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer documenting it all!

A PSA about footwear (this one is for the ladies):

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be in the field adjacent to the wedding pavilion which is grass. We recommend for your safety and comfort that guests avoid thin heels as they can sink into the grass. Flats or block heels may be most comfortable!
