What should I wear? | ¿Cómo debo vestirme?

Answer

Semi - Formal attire. For men, they should wear a suit with a shirt and tie (if they don’t wish to wear a tuxedo). Women should wear a floor-length gown, knee-length cocktail dress, a pantsuit, or dressy separates. Please do not wear white. Semi-formal. Para los hombres, deben usar traje con camisa y corbata (si no desean usar esmoquin). Las mujeres deben usar un vestido largo hasta el suelo, un vestido de cóctel hasta la rodilla, un traje de pantalón o prendas separadas elegantes. Por favor, no vista de blanco.

Is this an unplugged Ceremony? | ¿Es esta una ceremonia desconectada?

Yes. We really want to see your faces, NOT your devices. We ask that you please put away your phones and cameras until after the ceremony. We have hired professionals to do what they know best! We will gladly share pictures with everyone after. Si. Realmente queremos ver sus caras, NO sus dispositivos. What will the weather be like this time of year? | ¿Cómo estará la clima?

Answer

January is the coolest time of the year to visit Cancun, Mexico, although this is not saying much in comparison to the winter weather experienced elsewhere in the world! The weather is hot and sunny but not as stifling as in peak summer. With an average high of 82°F and lows of 67°F, these conditions make it a popular month to spend on the beach. Enero es la época más fresca del año para visitar Cancún, México, ¡aunque esto no dice mucho en comparación con el clima invernal experimentado en otras partes del mundo! El clima es cálido y soleado, pero no tan sofocante como en el pico del verano. Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors? | ¿La ceremonia y la recepción serán en el interior o al aire libre?

The ceremony will take place outdoors however rest assure that it will NOT be on the beach. No need to worry about sand in your shoes! The reception will take place indoors. La ceremonia se llevará a cabo al aire libre, pero ten por seguro que NO será en la playa. ¡No hay necesidad de preocuparse por la arena en sus zapatos! La recepción tendrá lugar en el interior.

What should I do if I can’t make it? | ¿Qué debo hacer si no puedo asistir?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. ¡Se te extrañará! While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
