Our story begins many moons ago on a Wednesday night in February of 2010. We both accepted an invite from our best friends to join them for youth group that night. Unbeknownst to us at the time, we were about to meet our soulmates, with a little help from our friends. We were introduced to each other while playing football in the parking lot before service and immediately had chemistry. We decided to sit next to each other during service and by the end, we were already making plans to see each other again. It was February 18th, which we only remember because it was a week before Ken's birthday and Sab was going to a Three Days Grace concert the following week, so we wouldn't be able to see each other for another few weeks. We spent every Wednesday night together for the next few months and grew closer over the summer. Fast forward to August 4, 2010 and we made it official. We were boyfriend and girlfriend. It sounds silly, but within a few short months, even at the ages of 13 and 15, we knew we were going to spend the rest of our lives together. We made a vow that we would be married on a 10-year anniversary and dance to "Then" by Brad Paisley, as a testament to our love that has continued to evolve over the years. Our journey continued through 2013, where some growing pains caused us to split and go our separate ways. We decided that we needed some space to grow and that if we were truly meant to be like we had always said, then we would find our way back to each other when the time is right. Well, a little faith in love goes a long ways because in May of 2016, we found our way back to each other. Ironically, we reconnected with the intentions of being friends again, since underneath it all, we were best friends. However, you can ask anyone - there was no denying that the chemistry was still strong and very much alive. We picked up right where we left off and the adventures began again. In our 6 years together since, we are living the life we dreamed of when we were younger. We have two crazy kitties and a dog we love dearly, and are working towards a home of our own in Jacksonville. We couldn't get married on our 10-year anniversary in 2020, but that speaks for itself. In a few short months, we will say "I Do" on our 12-year anniversary (plus a day ;)) in the Florida Keys and dance our heart away to "Then" surrounded by our family and friends. Thank you for being apart of our love story <3 :) Love, Sab&Ken
