Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, parking is available. For your convenience, there are several parking garages located within walking distance of the venue. We recommend the following options: 1. Carroll Creek Garage--- 44 East Patrick Street 2. Court Street Garage--- 2 South Court Street 3. Church Street Garage--- 17 East Church Street 4. West Patrick Street Garage--- 138 West Patrick Street 5. East All Saints Street Garage--- 125 East All Saints Street

Is there a dress code?

YES! We kindly ask our guest to join us in their finest champagne toned native attire. Think elegant and celebratory

Can I bring a guest / plus-one?

Answer

We kindly ask that you honor our guest list as it is. Invitations were extended only to those specifically named on the RSVP, including spouses where noted. While we truly wish we could celebrate with everyone, our wedding is an intimate gathering reserved for our closest loved ones. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing this special day with you.

Can I bring my child / children ?

While we love our little ones, our wedding will be an adult only celebration. We kindly ask that you make arrangements for childcare, as children will not be permitted at the venue.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5PM. It is very important to us that all of our loved ones are present from the very start. Please note that the celebration will begin exactly as scheduled - we will not be following African Time.

What hotels do you recommend?

Answer

Most of our guest are local, but if you would prefer to stay nearby after the celebration, there are a several comfortable hotels within a short distance of our venue. A few convenient options include: 1. Visitation Hotel Frederick 2. Hilton Garden Inn Frederick 3. SpringHill Suites by Marriott Frederick 4. 10 Clarke We recommend booking early to ensure availability

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. We do not have a traditional registry for physical items; instead, if you would like to honor us with a gift, we kindly invite you to visit our Registry tab, where you will find an option to contribute a monetary gift. We are truly grateful for your love and support as we begin this next chapter together.

Will a gele artist be available to tie my gele?

Answer

We ask that guest wearing gele should arrive at the venue with their gele already tied. A gele artist will not be on site to provide services.
