We did it!

Stephanie and Elliot noticed each other while taking the same organic chemistry class at Stony Brook University during the summer of 2012. On July 2nd while leaving the classroom, Elliot told Stephanie that she dropped something as he strategically handed her a written note with his phone number. The next day they met after class to share lunch together - but they were not satisfied with parting ways just yet. That same evening, they met again for dinner and a movie…and the rest is history! Stephanie and Elliot went on to complete their education and pursue their medical careers in parallel. Immediately following that serendipitous summer at Stony Brook, Stephanie returned to Philadelphia for one year to complete her bachelor’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania. Despite having to quickly face the challenges of a long distance relationship, they felt extremely fortunate to have grown a love between each other at such a young age - you could certainly say that their chemistry was organic! Once Elliot obtained his bachelor's degree from Stony Brook University, they continued exploring and living together in New York City. Elliot completed his Master's degree as a Physician Associate at Mercy College and went on to practice orthopedic surgery. Two years later Stephanie completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, matched at the UCLA pediatric dentistry residency program, and was accepted into the Masters program at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. With 6 years of partnership under their belts, Elliot and Stephanie took on a new adventure and moved across the country to sunny Los Angeles, California. Once in Los Angeles, Elliot continued to practice orthopedic surgery while he also began to immerse himself within the California car culture and pursue his passion for motorsport. Stephanie and Elliot have supported each other through thick and thin, from coast to coast. On November 29th, 2019 Elliot proposed to Stephanie while recreating their first meeting in organic chemistry with lab coats, sparklers, and a couple carats of pressurized carbon. Some time would pass as Fiancés while significant milestones were achieved. Elliot purchased his first home and actualized his childhood dream of becoming a drift competitor. Stephanie FINALLY finished school and started working as a pediatric dentist. Los Angeles is where together they currently reside as young professionals. Most recently, after 12 years of love and life together, they decided to make things official! On July 5th 2024, Elliot and Stephanie became husband and wife at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California. Their “staycation” style elopement was spent just like when they first met, inseparable for days at a time simply being together without any distraction from what matters most. Please know that you are a special part of our journey and you were with us in our thoughts and hearts. We love you all very much and thank you for being part of our lives.
