Like many modern love stories, we both swiped right on Bumble. Our first date started with drinks at a dog bar near Ally's apartment. Matt really impressed Ally by bringing a snack he had developed along with a dog toy and treats for Benny. Since the date was going well, we both walked over to the Wells Street art fair where we had dinner and shopped. We each bought an art piece of our respective dog drinking an alcoholic drink. These pictures are now hanging with each other in our kitchen :). That summer was filled with so many adventures. The rest is history <3.

Matt and I took my dream trip to Europe. I had never been to Europe before so we jammed in a lot in this trip. Our first stop was London where among many things, we toured all the London highlights. We had this tour guide who was super nice but the photos he took made us look photoshopped. Matt took this opportunity to tell Ally that he had hired a photographer for Paris. Although this photographer was pre-planned, he was able to play it off as if he hired this photographer because our London photos were so bad. The day of the proposal, Matt and Ally had tickets to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower and have a glass of champagne before heading across there river to take photos with the Eiffel Tower as the backdrop. Heading up to the Eiffel tower, Matt did not anticipate how many security stops there would be. It is pretty hard to hide a ring when you have to empty your pockets for the metal detector multiple times... Fast forward to the photoshoot, Matt and Ally followed the photographers guidance, including a pose standing back to back. With Ally's back turned, Matt got down on one knee and popped the question. It was the most magical day of our lives. We can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together and someday take a trip back to Paris, the city of love <3.
