We're getting married!

We met through a mutual friend in high school. She introduced us to each other between passing periods at school, and we ended up meeting together at a football game one Friday night. Eventually we would be seeing more of each other when soccer season started. We decided to get a group of the boys and girls soccer team to go to the movies to watch Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and that was the beginning of our relationship.

After exactly 7 years and 7 months later, he finally proposed. I was taking a family trip with my mom and grandma to see my sister and her husband in Pacific Grove. We went on the 17-mile drive and stopped at Spanish Bay to take pictures. As I had my back turned, David came unexpectedly to surprise me. The 17-mile drive was one of our favorite activities to do while in the Monterey area, so it was very sentimental that he decided to propose there.

After dating for so long, David and I have grown many interests together. We both love to travel, so any chance we get, we like to go out of town and explore new states. I love going on road trips because we both have similar taste in music so the drive is very enjoyable. We both LOVE seafood! Anytime we are out of town and going out to eat dinner, we will try to pick a good seafood restaurant in that town. We like to do fun activities such as Segway tours, impromptu shows, swimming with the dolphins, and more. At home, we always find shows to watch together. Our favorites so far have been Brooklyn 99 and Cobra Kai. I am very thankful to have someone who I can relate to so much. I am excited to more adventures together in the future.
