Whereas beaches in the Southland are stripped of their natural beauty in favor of walmart-sized parking lots and deep water ports, Crystal Cove is one of the few protected beaches that offer tide pools and other pockets of life. It's also where we took our engagement photos.
Omer loves biking (and Riley tolerates it), feel free to rent a bike and ride up and down the coast. Fun fact, California's coastline is protected from private property encroachment, making it one of the most accessible beaches in the country.
This is Riley's absolute favorite donut spot, given that they have a large selection of dairy-free ones. If you're nearby, definitely get yourself a sweet treat here.
Omer worked here in college and it's located along a pedestrianized boulevard in Downtown Riverside—check it out if you like a good museum.
