Miranda and Sean met at the Oshkosh Placement Exchange (OPE) social in February of 2020. Miranda was interviewing for a position at Ball State University where Sean was working as a Residence Hall Director and recruiting for another Residence Hall Director position in his department. Miranda ended up accepting a job at Ball State where shortly after moving to Muncie, IN, Miranda and Sean become best friends bonding over their love of all things geeky!

Miranda and Sean hit it off right away! They spent hours together after work falling more and more for each other everyday. After a month of friendship, they officially got together and the rest is history! They spent their weekends watching more movies and TV shows than they can count and exploring the Muncie and Indy areas. The pair traveled to neighboring states for fun weekend get-aways with their Indiana friends and made so many wonderful memories along the way!

In 2022, Miranda and Sean decided to pack up and move back to where it all began, Oshkosh Wisconsin! Both of them started new positions at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and soon fell in love with the Fox Valley. Over the past few years, they've made wonderful friends in the area, attending as many trivia nights as they can and making regular appearance at the best restaurant in Oshkosh, Friar Tucks.

Shortly after moving to Oshkosh, Miranda and Sean's family grew by four little paws! Looking for ways to get connected with the Oshkosh community, Miranda and Sean got involved with the local animal shelter and soon fell in love with a sweet, little bully mix puppy named Roscoe. Roscoe has brought so much joy into Miranda and Sean's lives! They couldn't image life without him!

Sean took his event planning and coordination skills to the next level in Fall of 2022. It was then that he started the most elaborate plan to propose to Miranda. He had everything planned out perfectly, from telling Miranda an entire "cover story" to creating fake itineraries to coordinating flights of friends from 5 different states! And on a snowy spring morning in March, Sean took Miranda to one of her absolute favorite places in the world, Cave Point in Door County, Wisconsin. Sean faked a photo op and surprised Miranda in the best way possible, asking to spend the rest of her life with him!
