- More sunscreen than you think you need! The sun is very intense and strong, please reapply often! It is expensive to purchase on the island. We recommend packing a fishing shirt/ rash guard. - Reusable insulated water bottle! Any bar will fill your bottle and there are refill water stations at the beach bar. - We also recommend bringing a second cocktail designated insulated cup! Ice melts here FAST. If you give your cup to a bartender, they will pour your cocktail in it.

The beach and pool areas are all first come first serve. The beach has free palapa's and beach chairs.

Superfoods

Answer

When we come to Aruba, we go to the grocery store "Superfood" on the first day and stock up on breakfast and lunch items or our trip! All of the hotel rooms come with full sized refrigerators and kitchens. This store is located just behind the hotel, maybe a 5 minute walk. Bring a reusable bag! (They also have a great coffee shop!)

HAPPY HOUR!!

Both Eagle Aruba and La Cabana have great happy hour deals! The bar on the beach is called "Oasis". They do 2 for 1 frozen daiquiris from 2-3 The main bar at La Cabana pool area does 2 for 1 on everything from 4-6 and 7-9. Eagle Aruba does happy hour from 3-5 and 9-10.

Do I need to exchange currency?

Answer

No! Everywhere accepts USD. Majority of restaurants and stores also have tap to pay.
