We met in Hangar 9 at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. We were preparing to get on the jet when a mutual friend (Maurice Starks) introduced us. All 3 of us sat together on the jet, hung out during the 2 week trip and after that, we became great friends! Later, Omari asked me out once we got back to Michigan and we've been inseparable ever since!

During our work trip in Florida when we first met, I applied to teach abroad in Spain. I found out that I got the Job to teach in Madrid. I was so excited!!! Months later, I moved to Madrid and we were separated for 5 months!! But, he flew over on Valentine's day 2020 and I showed him all around both Valencia and Madrid. From Flamenco shows to eating paella, we immersed ourselves in the culture. For our 1 year anniversary, we left Europe and went to Africa. We explored Morocco for a week. We rode camels, ATVs in the dessert, hiked the Atlas mountains and ate lunch under a water fall with cute little monkeys! We love to travel and look forward to more adventures!!!!
