FAQs

To make your travel and planning as smooth as possible, we’ve gathered answers to common questions to help you prepare for your trip and the wedding celebration.
Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP through the link provided on this website. We kindly ask that you submit your response by August 1st, 2026 so we can finalize our arrangements.

Question

Can I RSVP for additional guests?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP only for the guests listed on your invitation. Due to limited capacity and planning considerations, we are unable to accommodate additional guests.

Question

Do I need a visa to enter Jordan?

Answer

Most travelers can obtain a visa on arrival at Queen Alia International Airport (AMM). Entry requirements vary by nationality, so we encourage guests to check their country’s guidelines in advance. For US citizens, a single-entry visa typically costs 40 JOD (~$50 USD).

Question

What forms of payment are acceptable?

Answer

Credit cards are accepted at most hotels, restaurants, and major attractions. Smaller shops, taxis, and local markets may prefer cash, so having some Jordanian Dinars on hand is helpful.

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) in Amman. The airport is approximately a 1‑hour drive from the Dead Sea.

Question

How do I get from the airport to the Dead Sea?

Answer

Guests can arrange a private transfer, request an Uber, take a taxi, or rent a car. More details are available in the Travel tab of this website.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Formal attire is kindly requested for the celebration. Suits, tuxedos, evening gowns, and elevated cocktail dresses are all perfect for the occasion.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

October in Jordan offers beautiful, mild weather—but it can vary by location. The Dead Sea will be warm and sunny with daytime temperatures around 26–32°C (79–90°F), making it perfect for lighter clothing and swimwear. In contrast, cities like Amman and Petra are slightly cooler with daytime temperatures around 25–29°C (77–84°F), and mornings and evenings dropping to about 12–16°C (54–61°F).

Question

What is the couple's gift preference?

Answer

If you wish to give a gift, we would be grateful for contributions to our newlywed fund. Your generosity will help us begin this next chapter together. Our registry can be found on the Registry tab of this website.
