Palestinian Zafe is a lively wedding procession that announces the bride and groom’s arrival with traditional music, singing and drumming. It often leads into Dabke, a powerful folkloric group dance symbolizing unity, pride, and communal joy.
7:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Guests are invited to enjoy heartfelt speeches while also taking photos at the photobooth, where they’ll receive instant keepsakes. It’s also the perfect time to take pictures with the bride and groom if you’d like to capture a special memory together.
7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
This time is dedicated to relaxing and enjoying a delicious buffet, followed by coffee, tea, and desserts. Take this time to mingle, connect with friends and family, and soak in the joyful atmosphere of the celebration.
8:45 pm - 9:00 pm
For those praying Maghrib. Please take this time to perform your ablution and make your way to the designated prayer area.
9:00 pm - 9:15 pm
We will take a brief pause for observing Maghrib prayer at the designated rooms. We appreciate your mindfulness as we pause for this important moment.
9:15 pm - 9:30 pm
During this time, the groom will make a special guest appearance on the women’s side for a slow dance with his bride and a few photo ops—before retreating back to the men’s side to resume the party. Don’t worry, he’ll be back to bring the energy soon!
9:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Join the Dabke line—no experience necessary, just bring your energy and your smile. In respect of religious customs, the dance floor will be physically divided for men and women. Everyone is warmly welcome to participate and celebrate in a way that feels right for them.
