Our Story
Our story began in December 2020, when Asma sent an email to the Perris masjid asking about an Islamic school. Little did she know it would be her future brother in law responding, and that simple exchange would go on to unexpectedly connect our families. In August 2021, Asma and her siblings joined the masjid community, where she quickly formed close friendships with the Jadallah family.
Over the years, Omar and Asma crossed paths often at the masjid, the gym, family gatherings, and local events and got to know each other gradually. In 2023, when Asma became Omar’s Quran teacher, they spent more time together and formed a sincere friendship built on faith, and respect.
As our families grew closer over time, so did we. With their support and blessings, Omar’s family approached Asma’s family to ask for her hand. Our Katib Kitab was completed in August 2025, and we now look forward to building a life together, Inshallah.
