His version... I didn’t think much of this skinny pencil girl I went to school with. Before I knew it she wasn’t that bad, she actually ended up being my best friend. False allegations soon enough started to become reality. Of course this girl was in love with me first but I knew I was falling too, and here we are. Wedding bells and an adorable 3 year old. Her version... Carwin and I were in the same kindergarten class. I survived grades k-8 with him picking on me daily, calling me things like pencil and 4 eyes —he was mean. But you know what they say about boys who pick on girls ;) !! We had many mutual friends, hung out at the same social functions, I cheered for him in pop warner and not to mention our older sisters were BFF’s. I guess you can say, I started enjoying his company and our friendship grew stronger. I labeled Carwin as my best friend as I was able to talk to him about any and everything. In May 2015 my best friend and I realized we were in love. Now, here we are — In love, engaged and raising our beautiful baby girl, Olivia. I couldn’t imagine being on this journey with anyone other than my best friend, my Pokey, my everything. All in all... Premeditated friendship because of family, love and hate relationship; growth in both of us birthing best-friends, mutual feelings in denial but foresee-able, and a load of overwhelming blessings and lessons from God. ~Now we begin the next chapter in our fairytale!! ✨
