Leslie and Kevin's love story started in the Summer of 2019, during nursing school. They happened to land in the same clinical group- and thank goodness they did! One day, during a lunch break, Leslie arrived early, and Kevin followed soon after. A simple conversation turned into something special, with sparks flying almost instantly, (even if neither of them would admit it at the time). Not long after, Kevin casually invited the whole clinical group to lunch- but as fate would have it, Leslie was the only one who could go. They ended up at Torchy's, where what was supposed to be a group hangout turned into a one-on-one lunch date.. sort of. They talked and laughed for almost an hour, completely losing track of time. By the time they returned to class, both were smiling a little more than usual, and a sweet little crush had quietly begun.

After that accidental lunch date, Leslie and Kevin kept finding more reasons to spend time together- study sessions, coffee runs, and walks between classes suddenly felt a lot more exciting. They bonded over their shared love of nursing, cheesy jokes, and late-night snacks. Somewhere between textbooks and clinical rotations, friendship blossomed into something deeper. Before long, it was clear it wasn't just a school crush. They began their relationship in September 2019. Their connection was effortless, full of laughter, support, and so much heart. Through the long days and even longer nights of nursing school, they became each other's biggest supporters- and eventually, each other's person.

In September 2024, Leslie and Kevin planned a cozy weekend getaway to Colorado- a trip already full of excitement, as they had tickets to see one of Leslie's favorite composers, Hans Zimmer. The concert was nothing short of magical, a night filled with music and unforgettable memories. The next day, they grabbed lunch and set off on a hike to Chief Mountain Summit. The trail was scenic.. and slightly longer that expected (thanks to Leslie's frequent "nature appreciation" breaks- haha!) But as they reached the top, just in time to catch the golden glow of sunset, something even more breathtaking happened. Kevin got down on one knee and asked Leslie to spend forever with him. Surrounded by mountains, a beautiful sky, and the love they had built over the years- it was perfect.

From classmates to best friends, hiking partners to soon-to-be husband and wife- our journey has been full of laughter, love, and unforgettable moments. We feel so lucky to have found each other and even luckier to be surrounded by such amazing family and friends.
