Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please visit the "RSVP" page on our website and fill out the information. Please RSVP at your earliest convenience and no later than June 16th, 2025. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

What if I don't RSVP by the deadline?

Answer

If we do not receive an RSVP back from you by June 25th you will be marked "not attending". This is because we need an accurate guest count for all our vendors in a timely manner.

Question

What’s the dress code for the Traditional Wedding?

Answer

Family members and friends will wear the family’s chosen Asoebi—if you’ve got yours, you already know the vibes! For friends of the bride and groom: The color being worn by the ladies is green Asoebi with a burgundy Gele (head tie), and for the men it will be a white or green native with fila (cap). Note- While wearing Asoebi is encouraged, it’s not compulsory. We want you to feel comfortable and still be part of the celebration— come looking your best!

Question

I'm out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block that provides cheaper rates at the Marriot" Residence Inn National Harbor Washington". Please see the "Travel" section tab for the direct link. We also have other accommodation options in the travel section as well.

Question

What’s the dress code for the White Wedding?

Answer

We would love our guests to dress up with us for our big day. Formal attire is requested. For the gentlemen, formal attire may include a traditional suit, a jacket and a tie. For the women, floor length or midi length dresses. Think vineyard attire, flowy, elegant. Come dressed to impress! We also ask that guest avoid wearing any shades of green, cream, ivory, or white.
