Love, laughter and happily ever after

We initially met at church in February of 2019 during the yearly valentine program "to have and to hold". We quickly became friends, but I had no intentions of dating him so I tried setting him up with one of my friends. In June of 2019, I received a call from "Opsy", one of my closest friends. I had told her earlier in the year that a guy was somewhat interested in me but "I am not sure." Opsy laughed and told me I just gave out a potential husband away. She told me to call him and see what he is up for the weekend. I was reluctant at first but her "the violent taketh it by force" in this season of scarcity of good men got me rolling. We eventually went out on our first date that lasted 9 hours and the rest is history!

I had liked Yinka from the first day I met her in February of 2019. I was somewhat disappointed that she tried introducing me to her friends. I kept praying for clarity until June of 2019 when she called for us to hang out. I was a little surprised but at the same time, I was thankful for an opportunity to actually get to know her. Our first date lasted forever that I did not want to leave that day. Immediately, I notified my pastor and my family that I have finally found the one. I made my intentions known to her that I wanted to make this a lifetime of friendship within two weeks and the rest is history!
