Our Story (Doyinsola's Side)Our Story (Doyinsola's Side)

An Unforgettable Love

Seyi says that the first time “we met” was when he came to Scarborough church for a program we held with Rev. Ken. I say we met for the first time when he came to choir rehearsals at Conair and he totally ignored me. I’m not upset by that interaction trust me, I’m marrying the man. You could say maybe the first time we met was the day we sat down for 30 minutes trying to convince each other how we met. I for one am still not convinced. That was in early 2023 probably in February (maybe) and even after that interaction we were not that close just “Hi” and “Bye” in church. It wasn’t until the Lord would have it that for various reasons I started seeing him more often. We became real friends who could talk about anything (literally) and that’s what we did. Our friendship went from casual hang outs to best friends overnight. I found myself missing his presence when he wasn’t around. We began getting closer as friends, and we saw that by the Spirit the things we wanted in life aligned. We then began courting and things moved by the speed of the Holy Ghost. We were able to fellowship with one another, have Kingdom centred talks, and discuss the future through Gods word. I always said I wanted to be with someone who gave me Spiritual security and he proved to be that person. Our story is one that has been written by the Lord. The Lord created my present beginning and future. Seyi is my now forever and always.

Love in the Snow

It was a cold winter, yet somehow I felt warmth, a warmth that words could never capture. It wasn’t the weather that changed me, it was her, Oluwadoyinsolami. From the very first moment, I was captivated. Her smile, her laughter, her voice, her presence, and everything about her drew me in. When she speaks, wisdom flows, and every part of me knew she was someone extraordinary. In her, I saw something more than love. I saw my future. I knew, without a doubt, that I wanted to marry her. She is my peace and my passion, my rock and my joy, my forever girl. From the day I met her, my world was never the same. She lights up every room, brings calm to every storm, and makes life infinitely better. I’m so grateful that I get to call her mine, that I got to place a ring on her finger. And soon, I’ll stand beside her before God and our loved ones, look into her eyes, and see my entire world, the woman I get to call my wife.
