We ask that guests arrive in formal attire. For reference, women can wear a formal midi to floor-length dress, a formal jumpsuit, or a pantsuit. Men are asked wear a formal suit with a jacket and tie.
Of course! Everyone is welcome to attend a Catholic Mass at any time! Technically, Catholic weddings are open to the public. We only ask that you refrain from receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion unless you are baptized in the Catholic or Orthodox Church and are in a state of grace. All guests, however, are welcome to receive an individual blessing during Communion.
Funny you should ask, because there is no Brandford in Connecticut! Our reception is in Branford (North Branford, to be specific). This is a little typo that the bride accidentally missed until after the invitations had already gone out. We're very sorry for any confusion!
Although we would love to celebrate with them, we have made the difficult decision to invite only children from within our immediate families. We will not be able to provide any exceptions. Please keep this in mind when RSVPing. Thank you for understanding!
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking pictures on your phone or other devices during the ceremony. We will have a wonderful professional photographer there to capture the entire event. The bride and groom would prefer to see all of your unblocked happy faces during the ceremony! Taking pictures after the ceremony and during the reception is welcome.
The number of people invited from your household is listed on the invitation envelope. This may or may not include a plus one. If it does not, and you would like one, please reach out to us. We may be able to make accommodations. Our reception space is limited, so we would only be able to make a few accommodations, if any.
