Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can’t make it to the wedding please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no”, so we can plan accordingly.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the Wedding Party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guest can head straight to the reception venue where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at the following websites: Zola and Amazon. You can also conveniently see all 3 of those registries on our website under the Registry Tab.

Where will the ceremony and reception be taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Greenville, Mississippi. Our reception will be held at Table 82 @ The Cow Pen in Lake Village, Arkansas. Be sure to check out our Schedule Tab on our website for additional information.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is September 16, 2021. No need to send your RSVP by mail. We have a RSVP tab on our website and you can simply do it there. If you have already submitted your RSVP and something comes up preventing you from attending, we ask that you update your RSVP online or that you contact us to let us know.

The ceremony and reception will be hosted indoors.

What will the weather be like around this time of the year?

Answer

The weather will be beautiful. The temperature is typically 75°-80° around this time.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

To help us stay on budget we have a strict guestlist that will be RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes, food and drinks will be served at the reception. Menu: Main dish - Pulled Pork and Baked Chicken Side dishes - Green Beans, Baked Beans, Scalloped Potatoes, and Rolls Sauces - Original BBQ Sauce and Sweet BBQ Sauce Drinks - Sweet Tea, Unsweet Tea, Water, and Wedding Punch

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

No, we do not have any hotels booked for guests. However, we recommend the following: the Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn. Please see our Travel Tab for more information.

Are the ceremony and reception venues wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, both venues are wheelchair accessible.

Can I take pictures and post pictures of the wedding on my social media?

Answer

Yes! We encourage all guest to post pictures on social media. Our only request is that you tag the photos with our wedding hashtag (#COMINGHOLMES) so we can keep track of all your pictures!
