Andy and Kyle met on the Carnival Liberty during a cruise to Mexico. Kyle (who was in grad school at the time) decided to take a much needed vacation from school with her friends Zoe and Lauren while Andy was on his annual guys' trip with his friends Jacob, Aaron and Jon Mac. The second night of the cruise, Andy approached Kyle at the piano bar. As fate would have it, the groups hung out every moment the rest of the cruise. Kyle was not sure if they would see eachother again as he lived in Lafayette and she lived in Dallas. Fortunately, Andy texted Kyle that he was coming to Dallas for his birthday, and the rest is history.
