Menaza and Nick met at a summer kick-off party in May of 2016. The first date is still up for debate, but Menaza the master of remembering all dates, says it was May 24, 2016 to see Neighbors 2. In the beginning Nick played hard to get but she was persistent and didn’t give up. From the questionable first date to their first holiday spent together with family they spent about every week seeing a movie, sometimes twice in a week. In December 2018 Menaza and Nick took their first international trip together, which ignited their love for travel, and they have made it a holiday tradition to celebrate the New Year abroad, skip 2020 of course. They can’t wait to continue to create new traditions, memories and adventures together!

Menaza is possibly one of the hardest people to surprise as she is a very nosy person and asks a lot of questions. But Nick was able to pull off one of the biggest surprises by propsoing to her on Christmas day at Grandma’s house. Courtney, Menaza’s sister and Maid of Honor, gave her a gift bag with a “future mrs” planning book. She instantly started laughing as she was not planning a wedding at the moment. When Menaza turned her head to include Nick in on the joke he was down on one knee and asked her to marry him. The answer was obviously yes and being the overly emotional person that Menaza is she started crying while still laughing. It was a very special moment they got to share with Menaza's grandma, who was equally surprised, her parents, and Courtney. To make it even more special Menaza's older sister, brother-in-law and nieces were able to witness the special moment via facetime (thank you Courtney).
