we're getting married!

As many of you may know, Chris and I met a little over three years ago at Oishii, a sushi restaurant in Dallas. I was there with some of my teammates (shoutout to the Bomb Squad), and Chris was our waiter. For the first time in my then nineteen years of living, I was speechless (if you know me, this may be hard to believe). Chris was the most handsome guy I had ever seen, even with his mandatory mask on! Even though I was incredibly nervous, my friends convinced me to leave my number. I guess he liked me too because we've been happily together ever since. Thanks, Oishii! -Maddi

I proposed to Maddi at Lakeside Park in Highland Park, where we had our first date. If you know Maddi, you know it was incredibly hard to keep the proposal a secret from her, but it was perfect and we both cried our eyes out. I felt like the luckiest man alive! After the proposal, I took Maddi to a surprise party (shoutout Tori and Megan for making that possible) and we celebrated with all our friends from the DFW area. It really was the best night of our lives and we are so grateful! -Chris
