As all true love begins, we met on Hinge. After hitting it off and a few weeks of long texts (as Michael was working out of state at the time), a first date was set!
After having asked Michael where he lived right before our first date, it was soon discovered we lived right down the street from one another. I also used to live a few doors down growing up.. it was meant to be!
One summer night, after we finished making a burger called "I Heartichoke You" from Michael's 'Bob's Burger's' recipe book, he asked me if I wanted to be official. He caught me by surprise, and with a mouthful of burger I said "yes!".
Two years later.. we're at Rubicon, a fancy French restaurant. Under string lights and as the sun sets, Michael suggests a walk after dinner. I hesitantly agree- those who know me know I don't enjoy long walks, especially in heels. I was staring out at the Susquehanna River when Michael got down on one knee and asked me if I would marry him.. and here you are reading our story!
