Tallmadge Historial Church sits in the middle of Tallmadge Circle. Parking is in the lot across the street and a crossing guard is on duty to assist guests. Restrooms are across the yard in the other building. There will be signs :) The church DOES have Air conditioning! Anyone looking for gasoline, coffee or snacks beforehand is in luck- it’s all right there at Tallmadge circle! The church is about fifteen minutes from downtown Akron and forty five minutes from Youngstown. About an hour from Cleveland; 30 minutes from Canton.
Himelright Lodge is a hidden gem across from Cascade Valley Metro Park, on the edge of Akron and Cuyahoga Falls. (Also where we had some of our first dates 😎🥰). It is about 15 minutes from the church. Fast food, coffee and gas are more available closer to the church, as the lodge is outside of town. Ample parking is available; we will indicate reserved spots for those who need to park close to the entrance. The build in does have full restrooms. Heat/ac is there, however if weather permits doors and windows will be open.
