WE'RE GETTING MARRIED

Christian and Kayla initially met in high school. She used to help him with his math homework and tests when he was in summer school (that's how much she liked him). One night in the summer of 2018, he randomly kept calling her on Snapchat. She answered and they talked and caught up for hours. They fell right back into being comfortable with each other and the rest is history! Although it was tough, they made it through 3 years of long distance. Christian was a huge support system for Kayla throughout nursing school and her first nursing job. He would always make the drive for her whether it was 3 or 6+ hours. In 2021, Kayla moved back to Georgia from North Carolina. She got to meet and attend a Braves game with his family. At the end of the year, Christian finally met her family when he came over to make her grandma's famous teddy bear cookies (a rite of passage into the family). Kayla's sister, Jackie, had already known him and now they are even closer. They are three peas in a pod and call themselves 'the trio'. They have traveled together, watched movies together, and he even bought a Nintendo Switch to play Animal Crossing with them. In August 2023, they got engaged! For their 5th anniversary together, Christian surprised Kayla with a trip to Disney World and proposed in front of the castle. They had gone the previous year together, and it was his first time ever going to the parks. They had so much fun together and fell in love with Disney. So, it was very special for them that they were able to get engaged in the most magical place.

1. We have two small dogs, Ollie and Charlie. 2. We like to spend our time together walking the dogs, playing pickle ball, doing legos, watching scary movies, and cooking. 3. We love taking polaroid pictures! 4. Kayla's favorite Disney movie is Bolt and Christian's is The Lion King. 5. Kayla's favorite movie series is Star Wars and Christian's is Harry Potter. We are so happy to start this next chapter together and are excited for you to join us on our wedding day!
