our happily ever after(party)

On June 19, 2020 we attended the BBQ of a mutual friend & had some quick banter in the elevator. In February 2021, at the same friend’s birthday party, both single, we met again. A few days later, he DM’d me to ask me out on a date and we’ve have been locked in ever since. We fell in love during the pandemic, spending almost every day together. We enjoyed that first summer blissfully exploring downtown Calgary together and walking to each other’s apartments after work to watch movies, listen to music and just be in each others presence. We are both grateful the foundation of our relationship is an authentic friendship. Gbolahan proposed four years later in June 2024 with help from my sisters, on a yacht cruising the Toronto islands. We were legally married in November 2024 (surprise!) and welcomed our sweet baby girl, in June 2025. June is a special time for us and the perfect time to celebrate our union surrounded by our favourite people, including you!! xo
