Long Sands Beach
This is our favorite spot in York for a reason—it’s where John popped the question! It’s a beautiful spot for a morning walk or to boogie board the waves. By July, the water usually warms up to a balmy 60 degrees, but don't let that stop you! It’s the most beautiful view in York and well worth the shiver. If the kids can do it, the Southerners can too!
Nubble Lighthouse
One of the most photographed iconic lighthouses in New England. Enjoy a scoop from Browns Ice Cream or dinner at Fox's Lobster House while you visit. All 3 share the same parking lot!
Short Sands Beach
Smaller, soft sand beach tucked right into the downtown area.
Fun-O-Rama
If you want to feel like a kid again (or if you actually have kids with you), head over to Fun-O-Rama. It’s an old-school arcade right on the beach where time has basically stood still for the last 30 years.
