We never talked after being introduced by Cassie and Dylan, but knew of each other. In 2017, Colony employees were asked to help out for peak season, and that's where it all began. Cody thought Chelsea was smarter than she was, so gave her minimal training and put her on a computer. Hours went by, flirty glances and smiles were exchanged, mistakes were made, and then it was 1 a.m. and Chelsea's errors (due to improper training) were still being cleaned up. At the end of the night, Chelsea deemed it prudent to "forget" her water bottle at her work station, knowing Cody would be the one to return it. At 2 a.m. that same morning, Cody sent the first Facebook message. They continued to chat for weeks until peak season ended, and they FINALLY met up for the first time at none other than their favorite bar, Bartels Tap. To avoid getting into too many details, Cody advised Chelsea that you should never have more than 2 Old Fashioneds in one night (but let’s be real, she has always done her own thing), and the rest is history.
