Vibrant neighborhood known for its array of fabulous art, dining, nightlife, fashion, home décor, and unique gifts. Located between Ohio State's campus and downtown Columbus. Some of our favorite places include North Star Cafe, Short North Tavern, Marcella's, and Local Bar.
Just south of downtown Columbus, and also where we call home, lies one of Ohio's historic neighborhoods. Peruse local businesses that include delicious pastry and coffee shops, gift shops, restaurants and the extraordinary 32-room Book Loft (Alexa's personal fave). We highly recommend checking out Club 185 or Rooster's for a bite to eat!
Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is Central Ohio’s finest botanical garden. About two miles from downtown Columbus, you can find botanical biomes, lush gardens, special horticulture and art exhibitions, and seasonal offerings. A collection of glass works by artist Dale Chihuly is also on display (included with admission).
Less than three miles north of downtown Columbus is Alexa's & Bryan's alma mater (and where they first met). The campus spans approximately 1,700 acres, where you can visit the school's Oval, Thompson Library, and Ohio Stadium.
Battelle Darby Creek, home to 7,196 acres of forest, prairies and wetlands that span along 13 miles of the Big and Little Darby creeks (both State & National scenic rivers). Here you can also discovery the Bison that have been reintroduced to the park and roam freely within two enclosed pastures. This is a great place to enjoy a hike!
