Where should I stay in Bardstown?

Answer

Bardstown is full of charm—and so are the places to stay! You will find a warm mix of cozy accommodations, from historic bed-and-breakfasts to beautifully restored Airbnbs tucked right in the heart of downtown. Under the Travel section, you will find a few hotel recommendations, including the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, where we have reserved a limited number of rooms at a discounted rate for our guests. We hope you will take advantage of this limited time offer before it ends on July 21, 2026! Wherever you choose to stay we know you will experience the southern hospitality that we love so much!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding attire is semi-formal. We invite women to wear cocktail or midi dresses and men to wear suits or sport coats. Our reception will be held under the Rotunda.

Are children invited?

We love your little ones but this is an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a night off to celebrate with us!

Can I bring a plus one?

We kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. If you received a plus one, it will be included on your invite.

Why did we choose our wedding date?

Answer

We chose to get married on August 22, the Feast of the Queenship of Mary, because of our deep love and devotion to the Blessed Virgin. Mary’s queenship reminds us of her powerful intercession, her humility, and her maternal care over the Church and over us. As we begin our life together, we wanted to entrust our marriage to her guidance and protection. By choosing this feast day, we hope to honor Mary not only as Queen of Heaven, but as Queen of our hearts and our home.
