We're Getting Married!

We met the way high schoolers do. A spring break spent talking on the phone, Jeremy asked Olivia on a date. Like a true princess in the tower, Olivia faced an extra obstacle being grounded. A few calls to mom and emails to dad, the answer was no. This wasn’t the only time the two just missed each other. Outside of math class, Jeremy stood on the Koerner’s door step selling pine straw with the Milton High School Lacrosse team. Mr. Koerner told Jeremy he’d need to check with his wife. Meanwhile, Olivia and Mrs. Koerner, having just pulled into the driveway, hid unconvincingly in the garage with the door still open. On April 11th, 2011, Olivia and Jeremy went on their first date to a "horrible movie” - Hanna - disclaimer: don’t see the remake. Olivia wore a pink skirt. Jeremy wore a plaid button down, half calfs and yellow and blue Nikes. Mrs. Koerner recalls him looking nice and was surprised by Jeremy’s “maam’s” and “sirs.” Jeremy got Olivia home 30 minutes before dad’s orders. A week later, Jeremy invited Olivia to his parents' for dinner. Olivia met Jeremy's siblings and experienced her first European meal extending past two hours. That spring, Jeremy left a jersey on the front steps with the instructions Olivia wear it to the championship game. Both in number 24, Jeremy asked Olivia if she wanted to be his girlfriend. _ On September 29th, 2018 in Charleston, South Carolina, Jeremy woke up to the Baudrand house shaking with thunder and lightening, as well as his hands and voice. Suddenly, the sun shown through the clouds, and their two dogs appear in pink skirts. In the company of both of their friends and families, Olivia said yes to becoming a Baudrand. Eight years together through some of the most change-filled times of life, Olivia and Jeremy have found one thing that has stayed the same, and that’s each other. We are so excited to have this day marking a future of forever, and hope you can be there to share it.
