Olivia and Jeff both attended Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, yet somehow never crossed paths during their college years. Still, it feels like they were unknowingly walking the same sidewalks, attending the same concerts, and even sharing some of the same friends —right by each other’s side in spirit. But God’s timing is never off. In 2023, they were introduced to each other at a cornhole tournament, but it wasn't until a year later that they officially connected—and everything changed. They quickly realized they had been waiting for each other all along. With Jeff living in Tulare and Olivia in San Luis Obispo, they made the most of every moment together—packing their weekends with lake trips, concerts, beach days, and spontaneous adventures. Their unique love story evolved while living miles apart, and only made their love grow stronger. Their engagement story is just as special—and a little wild. On April 11th, 2025 Jeff surprised Olivia at a Charles Wesley Godwin concert in Santa Barbara, where he proposed and somehow they ended up on stage! It was the perfect moment because Jeff had also asked Olivia to be his girlfriend at a concert one year earlier (almost to the day), making the moment deeply sentimental. Here’s a funny twist: Olivia’s dad’s name is Jeff, and so is her grandpa’s. Then of course, there's Jeff, whose dad is also named Jeff. So if you happen to forget anyone's name at the wedding, just call him Jeff and chances are — you're probably going to be right. It may have taken a little time (and a few Jeffs) to get here, but they wouldn’t change a thing. God’s timing is perfect, and so is the story He’s writing for them.
