Well now, cowpokes — this is Texas, so dress with a little flexibility. In December it could be 90 degrees and sunny, colder than Chicago, or absolutely perfect… sometimes all in the same day. 🤠 The official attire for the weekend is Country Fancy. Friday Evening: It is all about ease, catchin up, and settlin into the weekend. The vibe is casual country comfortable - think relaxed, stylish, and ready to hang out backyard BBQ style. Boots or boots are highly encouraged, layers are smart (December keeps us guessin), and cowboy hats are always welcome. Come dressed to mingle, laugh, and ease into a full weekend of fun without overthinkin it. Saturday Evening: Yall know Olivia loves a good dress up moment, so bring yall's A game. Think dressed‑up but comfortable (emphasis on dressed up), with plenty of room to have a good time. Cowboy hats are welcomed and encouraged, and if you’ve got boots, they’re a must — this is Hill Country, after all. Ladies, a friendly heads‑up: Lucky Arrow Retreat is a rural property, so plan footwear accordingly. O loves a heel moment and would never assume your ability to walk in 'em but gravel could ruin those beautiful shoes. Most important rule of all? Come ready to boot scoot all weekend long. Dress to dance, laugh, wander, and celebrate — we promise it’ll be worth it.
🤠 Boots (comfortable ones—you’ll be walkin’ and dancin’) 🎩 Cowboy hat (highly encouraged) 👗 Country fancy outfit(s) for the celebration 🧥 Layers or a light jacket (December in Texas keeps us guessin’) 👟 Comfortable shoes for gravel paths and short walks 🕶 Sunglasses & sunscreen (yep, even in December) 🩱 Swimsuit (for hot tubs) 👜 Small bag or clutch for wedding day essentials 📱 Phone charger (you’ll want photos) 🎉 A boot‑scootin’ attitude (required) Pack light, pack smart, and come ready for a whole lotta fun, partner. 🤍
Pets are allowed at Lucky Arrow with registration and a fee — leashes required, and no pets in pool areas.
Damn straight. Pack a cooler for those staying on the property with refreshments of your choice and to share. If you pack Modelo - you’ll be kicked out of the wedding 🙅🏻♂️ - this is a Dos XX shindig - don’t believe me - test us. We’ll have all types of beverages for the group activities so don’t fret.
We love the little ones, truly — but this celebration is adults only. We’re plannin’ on late nights, loud music, boot scootin’, and a whole lotta merriment, and that’s just not the kind of scene small humans need to be around for. So please plan accordingly, line up a sitter, and come ready to relax and celebrate without worry. We promise it’ll be worth it — for you and for the kiddos back home. 🤠
Yes, rideshare can get you to Lucky Arrow, but return rides — especially Sunday morning — can be tricky. Renting a car or scheduling rides in advance is recommended.
We’ll be lodging and celebrating on‑site at Lucky Arrow Retreat, like summer camp (but in December). If you prefer to stay off‑site, there are nearby hotel options in Dripping Springs as well. Please check the "Travel & Lodging" tab for more information.
Fly into Austin‑Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). It’s the closest and easiest option. We don’t recommend flying into San Antonio — it’s farther and usually means sittin’ in bumper‑to‑bumper traffic for miles.
Yep — there’s plenty of parking on property. Some lodging options are a short (5 min) walk from the main event spaces, so keep comfort in mind.
After a decades‑long campaign, countless claims, and zero measurable evidence… the answer is categorically no.
Wineries, breweries, distilleries, hiking, shopping, and plenty of good food. Or you can kick back at Lucky Arrow and enjoy the Hill Country pace. Check the "Thing to Do" tab for more information.
No. William and Olivia don't even have social media so zero live streaming necessary. This is a doom-scroll free weekend. The point? To Unplug and be present.
Rest assure Texas weather has been accounted for. We plan on hanging out outside on Friday evening. Saturday's ceremony will be outdoors as well and the reception is indoors. Stay on top of that weather report but don't trust it 100%
One of the best parts of stayin’ at Lucky Arrow Retreat is that everything’s right there on property. Most lodging options are just a short walk from the ceremony and reception spaces — close enough to pop back to your room if needed, but spread out enough to keep that summer‑camp‑in‑December feel. That said, Lucky Arrow is a rural retreat, so some cabins and tents are a bit farther than others. Nothing extreme — just be prepared for gravel paths, gentle hills, and a little stroll under the Texas sky. Comfortable footwear is your friend, and boots were made for this kind of thing anyway. Bottom line: no shuttles, no cars, no stress — just step outside and follow the music. 🤠 Now, if you are stayin' at a nearby hotel or Airbnb- that'll change things a bit. Please plan transportation accordingly.
