What's the weather going to be like?

Answer

Fresno in July is hot and dry—think triple digits during the day. But don’t worry! Our wedding is indoors with full A/C, and the celebration starts at 7pm, well past the hottest hours. We’ll also have plenty of cold drinks and refreshments to keep everyone cool and comfortable all night long.

Do I have to dress on theme?

Answer

Our event has a theme—think Studio 54 meets Soul Train in East LA. We’d love for everyone to join in the fun, but it’s totally optional. At the very least, we ask guests to dress semi-casually in California summer style—cool, comfortable, and celebration-ready.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. We want all our guests to relax, let loose, and enjoy a night designed just for the grown-ups.

While we’d love to celebrate with everyone you hold dear, we’re keeping our guest list intimate. Some invitations will include a plus one or family, while others will not. We kindly ask that you refer to your invitation for the details. Thank you for understanding!

We’ll be celebrating with an open bar, offering a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks—including tea and coffee. Please enjoy responsibly, and if you’re able, consider tipping the bartender for their service.

Is there parking for the reception?

Complimentary self-parking is available for all guests. The lot will be monitored by security, and you're welcome to leave your vehicle overnight if needed—just swing by in the morning to pick it up.

🪩 THE GET-DOWN OF THE SEASON: BEST DRESSED CONTEST 🪩 This wedding isn't just a celebration—it's a fashion moment. We're bringing together the glamour of Studio 54, the style of Soul Train, and the vibrant spirit of the barrio for a night of unforgettable music, dancing, and high-fashion fun. To celebrate, we'll be hosting a Best Dressed Contest during the reception, and all guests are invited to participate. Our dress code is Cocktail Attire, but we encourage everyone to embrace the bold, expressive style of the 1970s. Think luxurious textures, statement accessories, dramatic silhouettes, polished tailoring, disco-era confidence, and your own unique interpretation of the theme. We'll be awarding cash prizes in two categories: ✨ Best Dressed Individual — $75 Prize ✨ Best Dressed Couple — $150 Prize Guests may sign themselves up starting during the happy hour, all the way up until the cake cutting. After dinner and cake cutting, finalists will be invited to the dance floor, where our winners will be chosen by live audience applause. Please note that members of the wedding party are not eligible to participate in the contest. Most importantly, this is all about having fun, celebrating creativity, and honoring the incredible style our friends and family bring to the dance floor.
