Our story began when we met as friends, who quickly became more than friends as we found more and more in common. Lots of mutual friends that we both knew, lots of shared talks and laughs. Life is funny like that; our paths were crossing long before we ever realized it. We later found out we had even more connections. We both went to Wright State, and Olivia was involved in campus ministry. Turns out, I knew several people from her group, and we were walking the same hallways at the same time without ever meeting. Eventually, we decided to meet up at Pettibone Coffee Shop. What was supposed to be a simple conversation turned into hours of talking, laughing, and realizing how easy it felt to be around each other. After that, I invited her to go archery shooting, followed by dinner and a basketball game at the Nutter Center. One day, I finally asked her out on an official date and from that moment on, everything just fell into place.
