What should I wear?

We are calling it Lakeside Cocktail Attire: Elevated, celebratory, and party ready that still honors a relaxed lakeside feel —perfect for a beautiful afternoon by the water! We’re envisioning cocktail-style outfits—suits, button-downs, chinos or dress pant, dresses, or jumpsuits—that feel festive and put-together. Our ceremony will take place on the grass, so we recommend choosing footwear that’s comfortable for an outdoor setting. The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM and, HOPEFULLY, in the sun! We encourage guests to dress with warm weather in mind. Cocktail hour will have an indoor space with outdoor access. The reception will be inside.

Can we bring our children?

We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax and enjoy a night out! Please feel free to reach out to Liv at oliviapope14@gmail.com with any further concerns or questions!

Where should I park?

Answer

Parking is available at the top of the entrance to Blue Water Manor. From there, it’s about a 5–7 minute walk down to the ceremony site. If you have any mobility concerns or would prefer assistance, a golf cart will be available to escort you. There is a shuttle that runs between BWM North and the BWM main property if you are staying at the north property and want a worry-free, safe ride back home after the party! We will give you further information on utilizing soon if you are interested.

Can we bring a card or gift to the wedding?

Answer

Of course! We will have a table for anything you'd like to leave for us at the reception space.
