Exploring The Coast

The Blind Tiger Bay St. Louis

The Blind Tiger Bay St. Louis

119 North Beach Boulevard, Bay St. Louis, MS 39520
, (228) 216-2600

Bay St. Louis was the mother ship location of The Blind Tiger which first opened in May 2013 on the marina front in Bay St. Louis. Still in the aftermath of Katrina, TBT was the first building on the waterside side since the hurricane. Jerry Fisher’s Dock of Bay, located nearby before being destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, seemed like a good site for him to bring a new bar and restaurant. TBT is a family friendly beach bar and grill that caters to the youngest guest to the oldest. Live music can be heard on our outdoor patio on weekends while the kids play in the sandbox. It also fronts the newly constructed marina offering 500 feet of piers, with easy access to come by boats of all sizes. A partnership between TBT and Harrah's Biloxi was formed and the second TBT location rose from the ground on Biloxi Beach. This location was so successful that it led to the expansion of the concept to Slidell and Madisonville, LA.

Rags to Riches was created by family and friends who wanted to bring something truly missing to Bay St. Louis — a real sports bar by the beach. Husband and wife Shane and Amy Bernard, along with business partner and friend Craig Bordelon, came together with a vision: a place where you can step right off the sand, grab a cold drink, let the kids play outside, and still catch every game on TV.

Built in 1868 and boasting a rare three-sided gallery, the Mockingbird Café is a small, charmingly eclectic venue located two blocks from the Beachfront, Old Town Bay St. Louis. When the Mockingbird was born, out of the destruction of Hurricane Katrina, locals and volunteers alike found the 'bird to be a welcome and comforting presence in the trying, chaotic times after the storm.
