Matron of Honor
Alyssa is my cousin but I'm also lucky enough to call her one of my best friends. Our memories are countless and they're also some of my favorites. When we were kids, we spent our days dancing, playing around in the Crazy Daisy sprinkler, and sticking spoons to our noses. I'm not sure how the spoon thing started, but now it's our schtick and I'm sure it'll happen at the wedding, too. In our teens and college years the laughs and dancing continued- only this time in some basement bar by BW. Our dance numbers now include our children and the song choice is a little different.. sometimes. She still hasn't forgiven me for telling her that Jeepers Creepers was going to come get her when we were 11- but we are working towards it and I hope to be in good graces by 70.. Despite that one hiccup- it's been a relationship that I've cherished my whole life. In the words of Chandler Bing- I couldn't BE more excited that she'll be standing by my side on this very special day.

Shannon and I met in high school and though we didn't play the same sports or have many classes together, our story began in History class when we shared my headphones and listened to 'inappropriate' music on my iPod. Somehow- we never got in trouble for it but I can tell you there isn't much I remember about that class. She left for Cincinnati College when we graduated but decided she missed me too much and came back home after one year. We've been inseparable since and it's been one hell of a ride. Through the good and bad- navigating our teens, twenties, thirties, and most importantly- motherhood together. We've been through so many different journeys of life together and after over 20 years of friendship I truly cannot imagine my life without her. We've already planned our retirement life together and hope to be the coolest old ladies on the beach.

Angela and I met over 15 years ago working our favorite job at the best store ever... Though I didn't gain much from that job- the friendship I found in Angela is something I'm forever grateful for. It all started after work one night when we went to Fridays and we both ordered chicken tenders, like kids. Eventually, I was able to drink (legally) and we continued that tradition which then included buzzed shopping at Target. Highly recommended! Now we're still eating chicken tenders but it's leftover's from our children's plates and could use a few of those drinks.. In the craziness of life, and especially motherhood- I'm glad I have Angela to do life with. It brings me so much joy that I've gotten to watch her children grow up and raising our kids together.

Katie and I have known each other for a long time- we both went to Holy Name but were a couple grades apart. It wasn't until she came in to apply for a job at Bath and Body works over 15 years ago that our friendship became one of my absolute favorites. We both went crazy during a dreaded floorset one night and started cracking jokes and quoting Toy Story and I knew from that point on she was a keeper. Our shared love for Kip Moore was also a strong foundation. Katie moved to Indiana years ago with her husband and the times I went to visit are some of my favorite memories- the laughs were non-stop and I loved being their third wheel. You know the friendship is real because that drive to and from Indiana is awful- seriously. Ever done it? Boring! Anyway- they moved back to Ohio and now we both have families and talk constantly about the joys (and pains) of motherhood. The bond we've created through the years is something I'm truly grateful for.
