Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will take place on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Castell de Peralada in Peralada, Spain. The ceremony will be held at the Carmen Church, followed by celebrations on the castle grounds.

Question

When should I arrive and depart?

Answer

We recommend arriving in Spain by Thursday, June 18 (morning or early afternoon), as we’ll be hosting welcome drinks that day to kick off the wedding celebrations. The wedding will take place on Friday, June 19, and most guests plan to depart Saturday, June 20 or later. If your schedule allows, we highly encourage staying a bit longer to explore the Costa Brava or Barcelona.

Question

How do I get to Spain and Peralada?

Answer

Peralada is located in the beautiful Alt Empordà region of Catalonia, approximately 1.5 hours north of Barcelona and 40 minutes from Girona. By air: The closest airports are Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN) and Girona–Costa Brava Airport (GRO). Barcelona offers the widest range of international flights, while Girona is a smaller, more convenient option for many European arrivals. By train: High-speed AVE trains run from Barcelona Sants to Figueres Vilafant in under an hour. From there, Peralada is approximately a 15-minute taxi ride. By car: If you prefer to rent a car, the drive from Barcelona to Peralada takes roughly 1 hour 45 minutes via the AP-7 highway.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in Peralada, Figueres, or nearby towns in the Costa Brava for ease of transportation on the wedding day. A list of recommended hotels, including Hotel Peralada, can be found on our Accommodation page.

Question

How do I get to the celebration?

Answer

Shuttle transportation to and from the wedding venue will depart from Hotel Peralada. Guests staying at other hotels are very welcome to use the shuttle; you’ll just need to arrange your own transportation to and from Hotel Peralada. Pick-up times will be shared closer to the wedding date. If you prefer not to use the shuttle: Taxis are available from Peralada, Figueres, and nearby towns Driving is also an option, with parking available at Castell de Peralada Please note there is approximately a 5-minute walk from the parking area to the Carmen Church, where the ceremony will take place. Tip: We recommend planning transportation in advance so you can relax and fully enjoy the celebration.

Question

Can I park at Hotel Peralada if I am not staying at the hotel?

Answer
