FAQs

Question

How do I get or renew my passport?

Answer

Please see the official government website here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html They have comprehensive instructions available, be sure to allow 4-6 weeks processing time.

Question

How long should I plan to stay for?

Answer

Although our ceremony will be on June 21st, we will be staying at the resort from June 19th-25th and would love to have you to join us for any or all of that week as your schedule allows! Please note that in order to get the discounted room rate a minimum of 4 nights at the resort is required.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’re excited to celebrate with you by the ocean! For our beach wedding, we recommend beach formal attire—elegant yet relaxed to suit the seaside setting. For men: Lightweight trousers or a linen suit with a crisp shirt (ties are optional), and stylish loafers or dress sandals. For women: Flowing dresses, chic maxi dresses, or sophisticated sundresses in light fabrics, paired with wedges or dressy flats (please avoid stilettos as both the wedding and reception will be on the sand). Feel free to bring a light jacket or shawl for any cool evening breezes, but otherwise, embrace the summer warmth of the tropics! We want you to look great and feel comfortable as you enjoy the island atmosphere.

Question

What date do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 2nd 2026, we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

How do I get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

Transportation details are available under the hotel information in our "travel" section.

Question

Is there a hotel room block or recommended place to stay?

Answer

We kindly recommend that all guests stay at the resort where the wedding will be held, as it will serve as the central location for all wedding events and celebrations. Please see our "travel" tab for booking details. We look forward to spending this special time together in one place!

Question

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

We are incredibly grateful for the love and support that surrounds us as we begin this next chapter together. We are fortunate to already have everything we need, and for that reason, we have chosen not to create a wedding registry. What matters most to us is sharing this celebration with the people we love. Whether you are able to join us at the resort in the Dominican Republic or are celebrating from afar, your well wishes and support mean more to us than any gift ever could. We know that traveling to be with us requires time, planning, and effort, and simply having you there — in person or in spirit — is the greatest gift we could receive.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children are warmly welcome! That said, we recommend taking advantage of the on-site childcare during the ceremony & reception so you can fully relax and enjoy the moment. If you prefer to keep them with you, we just ask that little ones stay with a caregiver nearby during the ceremony, and that you indicate they're coming on the RSVP so we can give the venue an accurate headcount for those events.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest loved ones. To keep our celebration truly personal and meaningful, we’re only inviting those we’ve named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
