We're getting married!

Our story begins back in September of 2020, when Shea and Olivia were both attending Elmhurst University. They both had a few friends in the same friend group, and were introduced to one another by a random chance. Soon after that, they both shared an interest in one another and decided to hang out for the first time. They spent hours talking and getting to know each other. That same night, Olivia went back to her best friend Sami's dorm and told her just how much she liked Shea. A short month later, on October 30th, Shea asked Olivia to be his girlfriend with a cute Halloween basket he had put together for her. The rest is history!

In April of 2024, Shea, Olivia and Shea's mom were driving down to visit Shea's brother in Charleston for spring break. They had a fantastic trip down to Charleston, stopping in different states and seeing lots of fun tourist sites. When they arrived in Charleston, They had more fun trips for that upcoming week, including visiting Magnolia Gardens. During their week, they had fantastic weather, except for the day they were visiting Magnolia Garden. Olivia was completely oblivious to what was really going on, because little did she know, Shea had set up their proposal for that day. The entire morning it down poured, some of the heaviest rain they had ever seen. Olivia was telling Shea they could just skip the gardens, unbeknownst to her what the real plan was. Shea was determined, so they got ready, and headed out to the garden. It continued to pour the entire way there. There was a long pathway up to the parking lot, and as soon as they hit the path, the rain immediately stopped. They had a beautiful walk through the gardens, and as soon as they came up to the famous bridge, their tour guide offered to take a photo. When Olivia was getting ready for the picture, Shea was behind her on one knee. Of course, Olivia said yes! They celebrated with champagne and cheers from everyone around them.
