We’re Still getting married!!!

Attention Guests, We have made the very exciting decision to proceed with our wedding with a few minor changes. We are excited to announce that ALL GUESTS are welcome to attend the reception. However, at this time the Church is limited to 25% capacity and we do not foresee this capacity limit to change by June 20th, so we ask that these seats be a priority for family. We will be holding a virtual ceremony for guests who would still like to view the ceremony online. Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can give our venue and other vendors a proper head count. If you do not feel comfortable attending our wedding or reception, we completely understand and appreciate the love and support you have all given us during this time.

Livi and Seth are both from Marshfield, WI graduating in the same class from different schools and weirdly only 5 days apart. They met through mutual friends in Winona, MN after finals were finished Seths’ Junior year at Winona State. They continued communicating when Seth moved back to Marshfield for the summer. They got together quite often in Seths’ parents basement where Livi initially made him watch the best show, The OC- a Larson family favorite. They officially started dating June 23, 2013 the day after Livi was unsure how to introduce Seth to her extended family at her younger brother Alexs’ graduation party. They dated long distance for about a year where Livi came to visit Winona every weekend off of work until Seth graduated from Winona. Once graduated, Seth moved in with his older sister Dani in La Crosse, WI. Livi and Seth continued their long distance love story until Livi followed Seth to La Crosse to go back to school for Occupational Therapy in La Crosse. Livi and Seth moved in together June 1, 2015 after dating just about 2 years. Once moved in, Lilly who was initially Livis’ dog, quickly became “their” dog. In October 2015, they rescued their second furbaby, Opie from Clark County Humane Society in Neilsville, WI. After 3 years of apartment living, they purchased a home on the south side of La Crosse where they are continuing their love story.

Seth and Livi both took half days from work to celebrate Livis’ 27th birthday. She came home from work where Seth greeted her with a dozen gorgeous red roses- Livis’ favorite. He then darted into the basement where Livi went upstairs to change into clothes to go to lunch. Livi waited around about 15 minutes before going downstairs where Seth met her at the bottom of the stairs. He asked what Livi wanted to do first. She was hungry as she just got home from work so she suggested going to lunch first. Seth then suggested to open gifts. He gave her the most beautiful card and at the end of his hand written message asked her to marry him. Her first thought was “Are you serious?!”. He of course said “Yes, will you marry me?” Then Livi collapsed, said ”Of course!” and cried tears of joy as she had been waiting a very long time for that moment to happen. It was perfect and intimate with both dogs present for the big moment! They spent the rest of the magical day eating a delicious lunch at Piggy’s in La Crosse, following with ice cream from The Pearl, and calling close family and friends.
