We both became Resident Assistant's for Stetson University in the Fall of 2019. We met and began speaking to each other through the many trainings needed for the RA staff and would choose to sit next to each other fairly often, realizing we had a special connection early on. At some point in the conversation I asked Olivia if she liked Apple Juice, immediately ran to Walmart and bought a two liter bottle of it, presented it to her the following evening while telling her that I had started to develop feelings for her and wanted to spend more time with her. While it was quite a silly start to our relationship, I wouldn't change anything about it.

Our first big trip together out of state was for Valentine's Weekend 2021 up to Savannah, Georgia. I won't even lie, Olivia planned the entire trip. She found a cute little motel not too far outside of the city. On the trip were four key events: a ghost tour, museums, exploring the city, and a cute little spot to eat called The Duck Diner (we both highly recommened!). I decided that I wanted to recreate this trip as best as I could as a way of paying homage to her wonderful planning and also to reminisce about our first trip! After finding my own cute little place for us to stay on AirBnB, I planned the following: a ghost tour, museums, exploring the city, and a slightly different spot to eat (a dive bar called Big Gun Burgers and Bar, also highly recommend!). The only difference, is that I would propose to her in a quiet little park with a seaside view.
