Coffee: Old Legion Coffee Co. inside 5th Grant Boutique (155 Pembroke Ave) or Eagles Nest Coffee House on 2nd Street in downtown Wabasha. In Pepin, Rustic Coffeehouse and Harbor View Cafe are local favorites.
National Eagle Center: Right on the banks of the Mississippi; get up-close with live bald and golden eagles. Genuinely one of the coolest things we've done in Wabasha!
Slippery's Bar & Grill: A Wabasha classic with great views, outdoor seating, and live music on weekends. Fun fact; it was featured in Grumpy Old Men.
Nelson Cheese Factory: Just across the river in Wisconsin; great for cheese, meats, and ice cream with patio seating.
Get on the Water: Rent a boat, pontoon, or kayak and catch a sunset over Lake Pepin.
Stockholm, WI: A tiny village 10 minutes from the venue with bakeries, wine bars, and gift shops. Don't skip the Stockholm Pie & General Store.
Scenic Drive: The highway around Lake Pepin is a gorgeous 70-mile loop with plenty of stops along the way.
