Downtown Cary Park
We adore Downtown Cary Park, and it's not hard to see why when you visit! It has something for everyone with beautiful walking paths, big open fields, fire pits, a fenced in playground with a splash pad, dog parks, and a dog friendly bar. We highly recommend taking a stroll around the park!
Hearsay, A Cocktail Bar
Our favorite local spot. The rocking chairs on the front porch are the best seat in the house!
North Carolina Museum of Art
Check out the park outside; it's full of outdoor sculptures and beautiful native plants.
Big Ed's City Market Restaurant
Our absolute favorite breakfast spot. Wander around the cute shops of City Market while you're here and stop by nearby Moore Square Park.
North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences
A favorite of Olivia's since she was young, this museum features a three story diorama of North Carolina's wildlife, fossils of extinct animals (including a giant ground sloth!), and a butterfly room featuring a two-toed sloth.
Marbles Kids Museum
For families coming in from out of town, Marbles is a must-visit! Geared towards kids 0-10, it features hands-on exhibits that put play and learning hand in hand.
American Tobacco Trail
The Tobacco Trail is a 22 mile walking, jogging, and biking trail that started life as a railway for transporting tobacco. Now, we love it for long walks and bike rides with friends and family.
Boxcar Bar + Arcade
A classic barcade, Boxcar features arcade games from all eras along with local beers and a great patio.
